A Great Foundational Principle for 2012

As I work on my goals, dreams and plans for the year 2012 I ran across a great story I wanted to share:

The #1 Client Adviser for BMW of North America is Neda Shahrokhi. She sells 900 BMWs a year. You heard that right, nine hundred a year. That’s three a day, virtually every day of the year. And she has done it consistently from year to year whether the economy is good or bad. The secret to her extraordinary success she shares is:

“I don’t have any unique sales techniques. I don’t manipulate someone into buying a car. I’m not a closer. But I am a great at creating relationships. For me, selling is not about the close. A close is a short term transaction. I’m gifted at creating meaningful relationships that are long term. Selling a car is simply providing a service to my friends.”

What a great foundation to build 2012 on.
